Coy Jackson
Owner, Quiet Strength Health and Performance
Coy Jackson is a Professional Coach, Author, and Adjunct Professor at Blackhawk College, with over ten years of experience helping individuals improve their fitness, performance, and long-term health. As the Head Coach and Owner of Quiet Strength Health & Performance, Coy is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed coaching that strengthens both individuals and the broader Quad Cities community.
Throughout his career, Coy has coached high-level athletes, supported clients in overcoming chronic back pain and weight-related challenges, and helped everyday adults build sustainable strength and confidence. He works extensively with youth athletes on sports performance, focusing on strength development, power, movement mechanics, and long-term athletic development to help them compete at a higher level while reducing injury risk. His coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, technical mastery, and durability over shortcuts.
Coy is also engaged in community-based health initiatives, including a partnership with STEAM on Wheels focused on empowering underserved youth through nutrition education, health science, and behavioral health programming. This work bridges performance training with public health, equipping young people with both physical skills and scientific literacy.
In addition to coaching and teaching, Coy contributes as a writer to multiple publications, where he explores topics such as performance training, nutrition science, behavioral health, and community wellness. His writing reflects his broader mission: connecting research, practice, and lived experience in ways that move communities forward.
Coy holds certifications from several leading organizations, including:
CrossFit (Level 1 & Level 2)
USA Weightlifting (Club Coach)
USA Powerlifting (Club Coach)
Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified Nutrition Coach
He earned his Master’s degree in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University in 2022.
Through coaching, teaching, and writing, Coy’s mission is simple: elevate standards, empower communities, and redefine what long-term health looks like.
